Of the 2,144 citizens living in Four Oaks in 2019, 1,606 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 872 of those people were female and 734 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
