County of Johnston issued the following announcement on March 20.

The 2023 Rabies Clinic will be held on April 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Animal Shelter at 115 Shelter Way in Smithfield, NC. 

 To participate in the clinic, please complete a Rabies Clinic Information form using one of the links below:

  • Online web form (complete online, does not require email or printing)
  • Fillable PDF (to save and email or print)
  • Printable PDF (to print and complete offline)

At the Rabies Clinic on April 15th, the fees must be paid for with cash.  Available for dogs and cats three months and older.

G.S 130A-185 of the North Carolina Animal Control Laws requires the owner of every Dog and Cat over four months of age to have the animal vaccinated against rabies.
