County of Johnston issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.
The Johnston County Board of Commissioners will be considering the following upcoming appointments. Please note the deadline to apply is February 21, 2022. Applicants must be residents of Johnston County.
Economic Development Advisory Board: Four positions; Two year terms. One position from each of the following areas of representation: Town of Kenly, Town of Micro and the Town Of Wilson’s Mills. The remaining position is an at-large member.
Nursing Home/Adult Care Home Community Advisory Board: Six positions; One year term for new appointees or three year term for reappointed members.
Johnston County Citizens wishing to be considered may submit a short application form to the Clerk to the Board, P.O. Box 1049, Smithfield, NC 27577 by November 22, 2021.
