County of Johnston issued the following announcement on Nov. 10 

The Johnston County Board of Commissioners will meet in regular session on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners meeting room located in the Johnston County Courthouse at 207 E. Johnston Street, Smithfield, NC.

In an effort to continue social distancing practices during the COVID-19 pandemic, please be advised that there will be limited seating available in the Commissioners meeting room for the public; however, an additional limited amount of overflow space will be available in the hallway outside the room. 

Citizens that would like to address the Board for public comment, but have concerns with physically attending the meeting may email those comments to Clerk to the Board Paula Woodard at paula.woodard@johnstonnc.com.

The meeting will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/jocogovnc. Staff will also post the livestream link to our Facebook page once the meeting begins.
