COUNTY OF JOHNSTON: Deadline For Board of Commissioners August Appointments Is July 19, 2022

County of Johnston issued the following announcement on July 11.

The Johnston County Board of Commissioners will be considering the following upcoming appointments. Please note the deadline to apply is July 19, 2022. Applicants must be residents of Johnston County.

 Alcoholic Beverage Control Board: One position; Three year term.

 Hospital Authority Board: One position; Three year term.

 Industrial Facilities & Pollution Control Financing Authority: Five positions; Six year terms.

Johnston County Board of Adjustments: Three positions; Three year terms.

Library Board of Trustees: One position to fill vacant seat; Term ending on Aug. 31, 2024.

Nursing Home/Adult Care Home Community Advisory Board: 10 positions; One year term for new appointees or three year term for reappointed members.

Johnston County Citizens wishing to be considered may submit a short application form to the Clerk to the Board, P.O. Box 1049, Smithfield, NC 27577 by May 23, 2022.
