County of Johnston issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.

 Emergency Services consists of three divisions: Emergency Medical Services, the Fire Marshal’s Office, and Emergency Management.

This is the final video in a three-part series highlighting each branch of emergency services to give you a closer look at what they do.

Our Emergency Management division has four primary responsibilities: prepare for, respond to, mitigate, and recover from disasters and emergencies, with the primary goal of reducing the harmful impacts of all hazards in Johnston County.
