County of Johnston issued the following announcement on Aug. 18.
The N.C. Cooperative Extension – Johnston County Center will host a gardening symposium on Saturday, September 24 from 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. at the Johnston County Agricultural Center.
The program will provide research-based, environmentally sound information about establishing and maintaining gardens, lawns, landscapes, houseplants, fruits and vegetables in ways that protect health and natural resources.
