County of Johnston issued the following announcement on Dec. 18. 

Offices will be closed Friday, December 23 as well as Monday and Tuesday, December 26- 27 for the Christmas holiday. County offices will also be closed on Monday, January 2 for the New Year’s holiday. 

The County follows the State of North Carolina holiday schedule. 

Johnston County’s landfill and solid waste convenience center sites will be closed Saturday, December 24 and Monday, December 26. 

The landfill and convenience sites will also be closed on Monday, January 2 in observance of the New Year’s holiday.
