Johnston Community College issued the following announcement on Mar. 9.

Blood supplies across the country are at dangerously low levels, but you can help give back and give life. In partnership with the American Red Cross, 94.7 QDR, and “Q It Forward,” we will host the “QDR Cares Blood Drive” on March 10, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The drive will be held inside the Great Hall of the Tart building at our main campus on 245 College Road in Smithfield.

All donors will receive a Red Cross t-shirt, Papa John’s pizza voucher and a $10 gift card at Circle K, while supplies last. Plus, you’ll be entered into a drawing for other prizes such as:

  • A pair of concert tickets to see Luke Bryan July 8th at Coastal Credit Union Music Park
  • A $50 Circle K Gas Card
  • An Amazon Echo Dot
  • A QDR Swag Bag that includes a QDR T-shirt, Koozie, sunglasses, and more.

Sign up for a donation time here: rcblood.org/3LgsjpB.

For more information, you can go to RedCrossBlood.org or 1-800-RED-CROSS. If you are using the Donor app, the sponsor code is: QDR Cares.

We look forward to seeing you at this important event for our community.
