Selma Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Aug. 14. 

The Parking Lot Ramblers is a group of musicians and vocalist from various well-known bluegrass bands around NC who simply got together one day to jam in a parking lot. 

With the wide range of talent recognized across many stages and festivals in NC, you’ll hear a wide variety of songs across many genres. Earl Scruggs, Tony Rice, Dolly Parton, and The Who are just a few artist that’ll be covered — of course, played on the traditional bluegrass instruments.

Willem Lutter (fiddle / vocalist)

Jessica Kirkland (vocalist)

Billy Powell (mandolin / vocalist)

Matt Johnson (dobro / vocalist)

Judo Allison (banjo / vocalist)

They will be rockin’ it out on Raiford Street Thursday, August 19th starting at 7pm.
