JOHNSTON COUNTY: Notice for the Johnston County Board of Elections Absentee Board Meetings

Johnston County recently issued the following announcement.

Notice for the Johnston County Board of Elections Absentee Board Meetings

In an effort to continue social distancing practices during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, please be advised that Johnston County Board of Elections Absentee Board Meetings will be livestreamed on the Johnston County Board of Elections Facebook page at www.facebook.com/joconcelections.  Because of social distancing, there will only be one representative from each party in attendance.  The meetings will be held at the Election Satellite Office located at 801 S. Third Street in Smithfield, NC.  

Absentee Board Meetings will be held at 3:00 p.m. on the following dates: September 29, October 2, October 6, October 9, October 13, October 16, October 20, October 23, October 27, October 30, November 2, November 9, and November 12.  On Election Day, November 3, 2020, the Absentee Board Meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m.
