TOWN OF BENSON: 2022 Golf Cart Inspections Begins

Town of Benson issued the following announcement on July 14.

Golf cart Inspections start this year on JULY 1, 2022 to renew your TOB Golf Cart Permit or get a new one issued. 

Be sure to stop by the Benson Police Department (303 E. Church Street) anytime Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Inspections will be in the PD parking lot, please bring documents into PD building first. 

The inspection fee is $60 – cash or check – cash preferred.

 What You Need

-Please bring your golf cart, a paper copy of your current insurance information, and a valid driver’s license.

-The golf cart must have 2 seat belts on the front, 2 seat belts on the back, a rear view mirror, and a safety triangle on the back.
