The Town of Clayton and The Clayton Center announced on March 23 the return of the Downtown Clayton Concert Series, with a full schedule of free live music events planned for spring and summer 2026.
The concert series aims to bring the community together in Town Square at the corner of Main and O’Neil Streets, offering residents an opportunity to enjoy live performances, local food options, and a night out downtown. Organizers said the concerts are designed to create a lively atmosphere that appeals to all ages.
This year’s lineup features a range of acts including Blackwater Band on Friday, May 8; 90’s Kids Superfly Tribute Band on Thursday, June 11; Whole Lotta Presence: The Premier Led Zeppelin Tribute on Friday, July 17; All My Rowdy Friends with opener Nicholas Vernon on Thursday, August 13; and CD & The Mix with opener Peridot Sun on Friday, September 11. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m., with activities starting at 6 p.m.
“We try to build a lineup that offers something for everyone,” said Community Events and Engagement Coordinator Amy Shearin. “From tribute bands to high-energy party music and regional favorites, the goal is to showcase a variety of styles that keep each concert feeling fresh while bringing new audiences to Downtown Clayton throughout the season.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. In addition to live entertainment, there will be food trucks, adult beverages available for purchase, and interactive activities for children.
“The concert series has become a summer tradition for our community,” Shearin said. “It’s a chance for friends and families to gather, discover new music, and spend time enjoying everything our downtown has to offer.”
The event is made possible through sponsorship from Nancy Jo’s Homemade and Deep River Brewing Company as presenting sponsors. Additional support comes from Universal Chevrolet, Old Mill Realty Group, Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, C&C AutoGlass, The Dog Wash, Hometown Realty among others.
