TOWN OF CLAYTON: Durham Street Detours Set for Sept. 27-29

Town of Clayton issued the following announcement on Sep 24. 

Due to sewer and waterline improvements, there will be several road closures and detours in the Durham Street area starting Monday, Sept. 27. Improvements will conclude, and traffic patterns will resume normalcy in the late afternoon on Wednesday, Sept. 29.

Traffic control measures will be in place by a third-party contractor.

On Monday, Sept. 27, Durham Street will be open but functioning in narrow travel lanes.

On Tuesday, Sept. 28, Holding Street will be closed at the John Street intersection. Detours will be in place for local residents. All driveways belonging to existing homeowners will be open.

Durham Street will be open on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Durham Street will be closed due to sewer line improvements. This closure will conclude Wednesday night.

All sewer and waterline work in this area is planned to cease by late Wednesday.

The highlighted roads pictured will be affected.
