TOWN OF CLAYTON: Parcels adjacent to Town of Clayton properties

0Comments

Town of Clayton issued the following announcement on July 6.

The Town has initiated a rezoning project to address zoning irregularities for 65 Town-owned properties that are currently under the wrong zoning district(s). Per the Town of Clayton’s Unified Development Code, the Town must rezone these 65 properties to the proper zoning district of Public Facilities (PF).

The Town of Clayton’s Unified Development Code describes the Public Facilities zoning district as the following:

PF | Public Facilities: The PF district is established to provide a coordinated land planning approach to the sale, rent, lease, purchase, management, or alteration of publicly owned or operated lands. Notwithstanding those public uses permitted elsewhere in this Code, the PF district is primarily intended for, although not limited to, public parks and recreation areas, public buildings and facilities, and other capital improvements of a significant nature. (Ord. 2015-09-03, adopted 09/28/2015)

At this time there are no current plans to buy, sell, or develop the properties that are part of this rezoning. All future actions would prompt further communication and notice per Town of Clayton Unified Development Code requirements.
