Town of Princeton issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.

Town of Princeton, as a friendly reminder as we head into the fall season and as leaves and limbs begin to fall that burning within the town limits is prohibited. 

(95.20) No person shall burn or cause to be burned any trash, refuse, shavings, paper, leaves, litter or other materials of any kind outside any house, on or in any street, sidewalk, alley, lot or yard within the town limits of the town. 

Fire Pits: Theses are permitted, however must be contained, operated in a store bought or man-made constructed fire pit not to exceed 12sf. 

Only wood pellets and/or natural wood less than 12″ in length are permitted. See 95.20 for prohibited burning.
