Town of Smithfield issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.

The Town of Smithfield is proud to partner with Johnston County Government to offer both COVID-19 vaccination and testing sites in Smithfield.

The Johnston County Public Health Department offers the vaccine at 517 N. Brightleaf Blvd. weekdays from 9am-4pm and Tuesdays from 9am-6pm. Walk-ins are welcome or you can make an appointment online at takemyshot.nc.gov.

There will also be a vaccine outreach clinic at Brightleaf Market, located at 2320 S. Brightleaf Blvd. Sunday,  August 22nd from 9am-1pm.

COVID-19 testing is offered every Monday through Saturday at the Smithfield Progressive Men’s Club, located at 1208 Old Goldsboro Road.
