Town of Smithfield Parks and Recreation Deprtment issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.

The “Boo Bash” will take place at the Sarah Yard Community Center (909 East Lee St.) on Friday, October 28th, from 4:30-6:30 pm.

Join us for great food, games and lots of fun!

Saturday, October 29th, from 10:30 am-12:30 pm join us for “Trunk or Treat” at Smithfield Community Park on Saturday. 

Make sure the kids come dressed in their costumes! Businesses, churches, non-profits, or individual families wishing to host a trunk should contact tiffany.pearson@smithfield-nc.com or call 919-934-2148. 

All trunks will provide an unopened bag of individually wrapped candy with a decorated car trunk. 

In addition, prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated trunk.
