Town Of Smithfield issued the following announcement on Oct. 30 

Join us in Historic Downtown Smithfield, NC for the Junior Women’s League 6th Annual Touch-A-Truck Saturday, November 6th from 9am-2pm.

Admission is FREE! $5 wristbands will be available to purchase for inflatables, face painting, etc. Proceeds from Touch-A-Truck will benefit House of Hope of North Carolina in Clayton, a family service that provides a residence and counseling for

hurting and abused teenage girls, as well as support for their families.
