TOWN OF BENSON: Mask Requirement Reinstated for Town Facilities

Maskwork

Town of Benson issued the following announcement on Jul. 30.

Based on recent data from Johnston County, citing a 7.2 percent positivity rate among area COVID-19 test results and rating our county a “high risk zone” for further spread (North Carolina’s positivity rate is currently 6.7 percent, while the positivity rate for the U.S. is around 5.8 percent), the Town of Benson has decided to reinstate mask requirements for the public/customers entering Town facilities.

Please note: Town facilities ARE NOT closed to the public at this time, but will remain open with a mask requirement.
