Town of Benson issued the following announcement on Sep 18.
The Benson Dog Park (100 Water Place Landing - beside the Hampton Inn) will be reopened this evening.
Unfortunately, The play spaces are now smaller, but this was necessary to fit the plans for NCDOT's upcoming widening of I-95.
The small dog area and large dog areas have been swapped. Signs on the fences will be moved to reflect the changes.
