Town of Clayton issued the following announcement on Mar. 27.
NC Governor Roy Cooper has ordered everyone in the state, including everyone in the Town of Clayton, to follow new restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19. You can click here for his Executive Order 121 which orders all of us to remain in our homes, except for those performing essential work and essential activities such as taking care of others, obtaining necessary supplies like food or medicine, and for health and safety purposes.
This order officially goes into effect on Monday, March 30 at 5 p.m. but the Governor is asking everyone to try to follow these rules as soon as possible.
